Burt MCP Expands Across Studio, Reports, Slides, Snapshot, and Leads
Burt MCP now supports a broader set of workflows across Burt, including Studio dashboards, Reports, Slides, Snapshot, and Leads.
The update builds on the report management capabilities we released in August, when AI assistants gained the ability to create, update, analyze, and delete Burt Reports.
With the latest release, users can work with more of Burt agentically, or directly through an AI assistant, using plain-language requests.
Studio dashboards
AI assistants and agents can now find, open, create, update, and delete Studio dashboards through Burt MCP. They can also create a dashboard from an existing Studio template or read the data shown in an existing dashboard.
When reading a dashboard, the MCP uses the same date range, filters, and comparisons applied in Studio. When creating a dashboard, it can add KPI, line, bar, area, pie, combo, table, map, text, and image widgets.
For example, a user could ask:
Create a dashboard with daily revenue and impressions for last month, and a table of the top 10 advertisers.
Or they could ask an AI assistant to review an existing dashboard and summarize what changed without first opening Studio.
More ways to work with Reports
Burt MCP can now export complete Burt Reports for analysis. Exports include CSV files for each report table and, where supported by the size of the report, an Excel file.
This makes it possible for an AI assistant with code execution capabilities to analyze the full contents of a large report rather than working through a limited set of returned rows.
Reports can also contain multiple tables, including tables based on different datasets. The MCP can add a new table or update an individual table without replacing the rest of the report.
AI assistants can also find reports shared by colleagues or teams and provide direct links back to the report in BurtHub.
Slides and Snapshot
For customers using Slides or Snapshot, AI assistants can now read the data behind those experiences through Burt MCP.
For Slides, users can ask what a previously generated agency, advertiser, or campaign report showed without generating or sending a new report. The MCP can also calculate the same report for another period and compare the results with the previous period or year.
For Snapshot, users can ask what an advertiser or agency page shows for a selected period and optionally compare it with an earlier period.
For example:
Summarize what September's Slides report for Acme Agency showed, compared with August, as three talking points for my call.
Burt Leads
Customers using Burt Leads can now explore their available sales leads through an AI assistant.
Users can filter leads by status or opportunity type, including upsell, recapture, and new-to-market opportunities. They can also open an individual lead to review how the advertiser spends with the publisher compared with activity across the Burt network, what the advertiser buys, and buyer contacts where available.
Show me our new-to-market leads, pick the most promising one, explain why it's a good fit, and tell me who to contact.
Using the new capabilities
The new tools are available through the existing Burt MCP connection. AI applications load the available MCP tools when they connect, so users who do not see the new capabilities may need to disconnect and reconnect the Burt MCP.
